Many Celebrations...

Tks guys.. really.. for remembering my birthday and celebrating it with me.. I'm really blessed to have u guys around. It's ok if i dun receive presents but those wishes and efforts are warm enough. hahaa....

11th Feb:
1pm went shihui's place to celebrate with my CCKSS frens.. we celebrated together because ours are very near each other.. You Teck, Shi Hui (laopo) and me...
7pm went my own N41 cg celebrated for me....

12th Feb:
1pm my dad... cooked "shou mian".
3pm Went jillian's place. She cooked my favourites!! "shepherd's pie", "you tiao--> sotong paste", and some other food.. Then played majiong~~ whoa~~ dun let me sleep somemore.. so tired...

13th Feb:
1pm Army frens.. Watched movie together...
7pm Circuit Test.. I PASSED! i think it's God's gift. COs i was supposed to sort of fail cos i got 20 points but then the examiner "liquid" away one of the 2 points and i got 18.. Therefore i passed. So Thankful.
11pm Book in to camp. doing COS duty on the 14th... sian.. if not i can meet john and gang for free dinner and irene for erm... maybe free lunch? lolx...

BUt really.. tks so so much for remembering and celebrating with me!

MY RTT!! (Riding Theory Test) after so long~~! Next step.. Pass my Circuit Test. Hopefully by next Mon! Failed the 1st time round for getting 28 points. 12 points for wobbling which they claimed and i tot is quite dumb.. Arghhh.. NO wobble! "Ai zai" (steady in Hokkein) next time round man!

New Phrases in life

Ya.. That's what KF commented yesterday in his car. Well, i had to agree that we are indeed moving on the our new phrases in life individually. Our ORD dates are drawing near. In my heart, i couldn't wait but at the same time i couldn't help feel a sense of lost. All the others will be going on with their studies in various Universities while i, and i think only me, will be working. Even so, i'm looking forward to it while the rest, strangely, are not that enthusiastic..

KF mentioned that they have to get through the cycle of knowing new people again and trying to get used to the people out there and he'll indeed will be missing the rest of us in camp.. He meant DAYS in camp after we've been through so much together and already so comfortable with each other.. lolx.

Now i sort of understand how our previous batch of officers felt when they're about to ORD. It's not about feeling lost i guess.. it's the people inside that all of us will miss. And he's even wondering after this sort of "dispersion" when will be the next time we will meet. Haha.. i'm wondering too so i guess it takes some extra effort for some of us to organise a get together session soon. Hmm.. How long can it last? i mean this kinda friendship and regular meet up.. lolx.

I still remember this familiar phrase in pri, sec, jc graduation. It usually last for a few mths, after that.. almost no news.. I guess they've found and gotten used to the new environment already. lolx. I've lost contact with my pri sch frens already. some are found back through frienster but then we dun meet at all. Duno wat to tok abt i guess. lolx.

Anyway, i told him what abt me? at least most of the specialist are going to the same uni as u and some of your JC frens while for me, it's really TOTALLY new! lolx.

Yes.. This is dedicated to my "Lao GOng" in camp. He's flew off to australia for his studies. All the Best to Your studies! He was very funny manz.. Kept insisting me to call him one last time at the airport! Erxin! We actually wanted to buy some "farewell" gift for him but end up didnt get.. This is what happens:

Me:"Hey, HQ, This the $$ u say is for Benjamin's gift."
HQ:"Oh.. ok, Give it to Wats."
Wats(with a stunned look):"HUh? Give me for wat? GIve HQ."
HQ(looked at Wats with another stunned look):"Har? I tot u buy?"
Wats:"I tot u buy? I tot u say... that time.."
HQ:"HAR??? I tot is u go and buy.. Told u already..."

I held the $$ in my hands outstretched in the middle of them, with a big question mark look on my face, glancing left and right at both of them while the ordeal is going on.

Me:"Eh.. So is dun have ar??"
Both with a (-_-)''' look back as if thanking me for the "useful" input.
Wats:"Eh.. YX, why not u take out your new jacket out now la.. Give to him.."

But we told Benjamin in the end that we'll be passing the gift to AH so that he can pass it to him when he goes over too.

After saying bye bye, we decided to go for supper.
I took KF's car because we went there together.. KF's hand itchy, went to play with a machine that says "ESTIMATE YOUR PARKING FEES" so we went to try cos before we entered the carpark, there's a sign that reads ".35cents/min". We don't really know what it means but juz hoping the fee isnt high. What flashes on the screen almost caused a major heart-attack in us "$16.75". WHAT???? for like 1hr++ We silently walked away from the machine.. Then explode to running to KF's car when we exit the glass door juz beside the machine..

KF:"ARGHHHH... $16!!! MY most expensive parking fee ever! no la.. i think not so expensive if not there wun be any cars here.. (looks ard) eh.. really no cars lei.. hmm.. So ex meh?? no la.." (he was chanting away, in a state of disbelief and uncertainty)
I don't dare to utter a word so as not to add in unnecessarily to his unstable-ness.

We almost dashed to the exit barrier the SECOND we were in the car. Just before we reach the ICU unit, we edged in slowly, keeping our fingers crossed. *BEEPS*(sound of the decuction from the unit) $3.15. *PHEW!!!!* Sighs of relievesssssssssssss....

KF:"See.. I knew it wouldn't be so ex.."

Watson juz passed his TP 1st time too.. Woohoot! And he got a car to drive! Oh man.. So envious and he just adds to the number of specialist in our company who drives. Last night, 4 car convoys. So cool. YX, Wats, Shawn, KF. We had a total of 9 people who drives now. 10 if count in the illegal one or 11 if count the bike(but he juz sold it away)..

Sian Big Time!!!

Sian Big Time.. BIG BIG BIG time... $200 is alot of $$~! Anyway, i was "disqualified" of this $200 marksmenship monetary award because according to the "system" i have already cleared my 2nd year shoot. I took my 2nd year with all the troopers who were taking their 1st year while the rest of the specialist were posted out to help out with SYF/ Taiwan Atec last year.

Both Shawn and i took the run down marksmanship shoot which is much much harder to get, as compared to the one we took recently. (combat shoot)
The run down is with alot of different targets and started at the 300m mark. We had to run down all the way till 50m mark to shoot down 80% of the target board before we could get the markmanship. Whereas, for combat shoot, we were shooting at 75m (so Near!) and all the target boards were the same. So easy! Even thought the whole company gets marksmanship, few of us didnt qualify for the $200 because some of their window period has been already closed. SO dumb! $200 is alot of MONEY!

Felt alitle bit unfair.. Although in the beginning, i thought it is a good thing that i had cleared my 2nd year shoot earlier than the rest. Now it seems not so good... haizz... Upset.. And i still have not got my award for achieving Silver for IPPT! so long already. Almost a year~~! FAULTY SYSTEM..

Yah.. Exactly.. NICE ONE to the ONE above.. hehe.. Y i say so? Well, remember i said i dislike PINK? And i promised my frens that they will never get to see me wear PINK ever? I juz had a "breakthrough" on chinese new year.. Wat follows is amazing.. i now had 4 PINK shirts!

I washed a new RED colour shirt with the rest of my laundry.. (i should have known...) Yes.. The colour FADES! ALL my white shirts in the washing machine got dyed... White+RED=PINK!! 4 in total. God is interesting and colourful. He must be telling me,"Hello... Pink also not bad ma.. NOw i must make u get used to it.." Well, tks.. Guys in camp, think soon you al will get to see a PINK P.T.I shirt on me.. Tks... lolx...

OH... i errr.. LOved Pink now~~ *faint* i now dislike RED!!! >.<

Happy Chinese New Year

Wahahas.. so sorry for not blogging for so long. HAppy Woof Woof Year! It's my year manz! Hehe... For those who are still wondering that t am suppposed to be born of the year of pig, well, i'm born before chinese new year that time before the year of pig! So i'm a woof woof.. lolx.

Hope u guys collect many many red packets! Wahahas... still got 10 days left!

I guess it's not my culture to shop for clothes during chinese new year.. Cos my clothes are mostly passed down or gifts from frens. Hehehe.. TKs guys.. pls keep the gfts coming cos i got very "kuku" fasion sense. I like to buy "ah pek" clothes! Really! So these few days i have been wearing "newly" passed down clothes to wear. hehe..

oh.. i have to mention on the 1st day of CNY, i had to wear formal.. which seems very out of place but i have got no choice. I've got to give my dad face cos he brought the long sleeves PINK shirt for me (yah..finally my 1 n oni piece of PInk clothing.. and i tot i sort of promise myself n my frens that they can nvr see pink stuffs in my wardrobe. (*tks dad for erm.. the breackthru) i match it with a matching maroon tie Jillian got me years ago..) Kena mocked by some of my relatives... "eh.. so formal ah?" (Thick skinned reply)"Ya lo.. Chinese New Year ma.."

It suddenly seems that chinese new year is a time for "official gambling" time.. Everywhere i go, every house i visit, they gamble... Majiong ah, black jack ar, in between, wat so ever... Hmm.. Tk GOd i've broken the urge to gamle ever since i became a Christian. I'm a more practical person now. I dun "bet" on chances so gamble dun interest me anymore. I shldnt comment more on this eh.. amoral issue.. But pls.. FOr those who gambled, CONTROL hor!

I think ppl tend to abuse festive seasons.. for eg, CNY--> Gambling! Lantern Festival--> play with fire. i mean i duno wat else la.. it seems some illegal activities suddenly becomes a norm. Oh.. BAD BAD..
