Out in workforce

Finally after ORD, it's time to WORK! I was thankful that i found a job so soon. JUz 2 days after i got my PINK I/C! haha.
The working location is not bad.. In fact, it is very good because it's easily assesible-->ORCHARD! Wahahas.. I've been so busy that i have not been to town for quite awhile. NOw i guess i'll soon grew tired of that place.
I was given the role: DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST. Whoa.. SOunds very chiem right? BUt then it's er.. not very good la.. I had targets to meet everyday! 60 entries per day. *faint* it took me almost 15-30mins juz to do one because i was very unfamiliar with the system. ANd the thing is, it's not exactly DATA ENTRY... IT's more like DATA TRANSFER! I had to copy details frm one folder to another program and it had so many fields to insert!
So i was.. WHOLE DAY.. staring into the computer screen till i almost cock-eyed and my hand was iterally glued to the mouse. GUess wat.. i got wrist cramps! *faint* My fren told me i moght be suffering frm R.S.I. (a medical conditon) which i didnt even hear of. lolx. CHECK IT OUT MAN...

BRC guys.. Hope u all can find jobs in town area too then we can meet up for lunch and dinner! Yeah.. wahahas.. Tml working. Wrist cramps.. *ARGHHHHHHHH***

ARMY DAZE... dazee...

Was out yesterday accompying Shannon to the IT fair at suntec to look for laptops as he wil be going overseas to study. Then we oso dropped by to visit LTA edwin, YX, KF at their booths cos they're working. We saw quite a few ex-coy mates working there too.

Edwin was desperate.. He had to sell 40 mouse per day.. but even if he dun hit the 40, nothing will happen to him la. BUt due to personal pride.. He wanted to.. It was almost half the day already when i asked,
Me:"Whoa.. 40 mouse.. walao.. Who will buy mouse one? Then u sell how many already?"
Edwin:"Walao.. 5 oni la... Help me lei."
Me:"Wahahas.. So ex! I buy u got commission anot? discount la"
Edwin:"Dun hv la.."
Me:"ok la.. I buy then wat will u do for me? Sleep with me?"
Edwin:"OK!! Can.. anything..."
Me:"WHoa.. so desperate ar? JUz buy 1 mouse u willing to sleep with me n let me do anything to u ar??" (my dark side surfacing..)
Edwin:"yah yah.."

I helped him buy 1. lolx. But he didnt promote properly. Oni when i remove the packaging did i realised that it doesnt come with a PS adapter. I went back to argue with the boss to change it. Haha.. THey did.. but i hope it doesnt affect Edwin's work. YX sold 25 mouse already.. Whoa~~ *salute* i say edwin not cute n muscular enough. wahahas.. Army good in this sense that u'll be paid according to the rank u hold so even though u did practically NOTHING~~ u still get paid. But now we all ORD already. NO more officer pay for him that's y he need to work so hard n settle for a lower pay check..

Then went to celebrate Shu Ting's bday...

Then went to Tanjong Pagar one of the KTV pubs to meet up with my BMT mates for drinking sessions but i nvr drink at all. So juz sit down n tok with them.
There was this guy in our section who really WAYANG-ed alot juz to go to OCS. HE did eventually n even signed on with the air force. For once we tot his carrer is pathed nicely for him already. Bright future.. As an officer, stable income.
Little did we realised it was not it turns out to be. Cos that time he really seen thru him and we didnt really keep in contact and we were all very busy with our own postings to other units n training ans stuffs. So it happens that i began toking to him after everything in a cab we shared,
Me:"Hey.. Officer.. How's everything in the air force?"
XW:"NO la.. wat officer.. i private oni.."
Me:"Dun joke la.."
XW:"Really.. u duno meh?"
(starting to realise he really wasnt joking by the tone of his voice n expression on his face)
Me:"Har... Wat happen?"
XW:"I Out of COurse after 7 mths in OCS. then they post me to some other place then back to OCS to re-course but i sian already.. Then they kick me out then i went SISPEC. Over there i "kheng" alot then fail course then post to SI as a private. Then i played rugby for the company n dislocate my shoulder then down-graded, which is wat i wanted since i got kicked out frm OCS the very 1st time.."
Walao.. i didnt know he went thru so much.. In the end after 2 yrs, he's still a private.. I seriously duno what happen to him cos i have to admit he really have the abilities to become an officer.. i've seen worse coming out of OCS. And because he sort of broke bond after down-grading, he had to pay them back the salary and serve extra few months for it.
After we almost reached his place,
YW:"So mon the thing is confirmed anot?" (cos we tot of going out again)
Me:"Shld be.. cos twe plan to go down after we collect our I/C.. haha.. ORD loh"
YW(in a very sian tone):"Ahhh~~ u all ORD.. i no ORD la.."
Me(feeling the tense atm):"hey.. dun lidat la... i'm sorry.. i dun mean to.." (i feel so silly for being so tactless..
YW(in a very resigned tone):"no la.. it's ok.. see u.." (got out of the taxi)

I cant help but really feel sorry for him.. Although i have to admit he was really making us mad when at that time he really put up a good show juz to go to OCS n got in. BUt now.. he juz... NOTHING... so sad... haiz..

In the Mood..

"R u in the mood?" this sentence means we're slowly nearing our ORD thus slowly transforming to be a civilian once again... Yesterday we had a farewell party done by our troopers for us. We were really touched by their effort. They did a wonderful skit abt us going outfield.. Some of the thingsWe were laughing our heads off. I seriously think RenHAn is a very great actor~! SO amusing.. He can take over "hui ge" n i think i can take over "mark lee" in the Jteam. joking!

I was personally touched by my TC. JS.. he did a card for me.. I mean who'll expect a HUNK to do a card for anybody? Wahahas.. He bought a book as a farewell gift for me as well. Though i did cards to wish all of them happy ORD i didnt expect anything back. So JS gift was really a bonus. He mentioned in the card that i was a very good DY which i seriously doubt so.. He was so extravagant in his praise! While in my card i profusely apologise for not being a good DY.

Both of us took reference to out most tough moments in the army--> EX. LONGWALK in thailand where we walked close to 70km in 2 days. SHAG! I was sorry for that 1st night cos i was so so shag i couldnt carry on. Kept asking him to stop walking n to continue the next morning. But he continue to recce the ground while i took short naps. We walked till 3-4+ in the night with our heay equipments, slept on the ROAD till the 1st motorcyle tt went past us (almost caused accident sia) at abt 6 then we continue walking.
By then i slept liao i happy then i got energy. OC bluffed us manz! There were actually 2 routes to our next destination. T1 n T2. T1 is the most str8-forward route according to the map but when JS consulted OC, he said T1 very hard to walk.. told us to walk T2 instead. Walao... It's a super long route man! easily 10km diference. By then JS in the morning was tired already. He took short naps while i feel tt it's my turn to take over so i recce the ground. The weather was SUPER HOT n out water supply is running low. However, In the end we completed the Exercise! We found all the checkpoints. We were really very happy but our feet suffered. HUGE BLISTERS all over. Abrasions at our thighs. Still.. we had to continue for our next exercise. Sian.. then i happened to ask lta goh abt the route T1. they say they also walked T1 but nothing le.. not hard to walk at all.. Juz walk lo.. Walao.. i almost want to punch my OC!

Anyway, these are just some of the unforgettable experience which i'm sure we'll talk abt again when we meet in the future. I'm happy that i'm ORD-ing but at the same time, sad that we guys wouldnt be together doing stupid things again.
COme on~ 1yr plus confined in camp doing practically nothing during the lull periods.. Doing things together... sometimes gossip abt ppl, make fun of others, see ppl fight, see ppl quarrel, see ppl on top of the world once they got a gf or cry cos... u know... Then everyday juz wake up for breakfast, sleep, lunch, sleep, maybe some exercise, dinner, sleep.. Cos we cant go out.. unless our OC approve but he very "niao".. Wun give at all.
So imagine.. JUz stucked inside there nothing to do so we try to find things to do.. Eg,watch Tv, GYm, jog, strip ppl, wrestling, raping sessions, learn guitar, read books.. While we will watch with envy those working office 8-5 staff in thier No.3 uniform running to cath the shuttle buses to take them to the nearest mrt staions everyday. Forever waiting for weekend to come so that we can have life outside.

Well, just wana say It's really fun knowing these batch of guys. We were indeed very very bonded. I will definately miss u guys. Happy ORD!

Dota Craze

It seems like the Dota trend hasnt die off yet. We guys Dota whenever or whereever we had the chance! THe problem is, after playing this for almost a yr, i still couldnt quite get it! Arghh.. it's frustrating cos some of my frens who oni started playing it later then me, were all so good.. Well, probably i wasnt realy so well versed in PC games afetr all..

In fact, honestly, WR3 is my 1st ever PC game! I never played any PC game before.(if u count "ming sing san que yi" the majiong game as a like of PC game) I just decided to give it a try cos last year there was this DOta-craze that spreads like wild fire in my company. Everyone booked out, juz to visit some LAN shops to DOTA! (well, like i mention before, there's always a new trend in the coy n everybody will catch it like a infectious bug. We read, we play guitar, we go gym...) Like-wise the caught the bug.. even till now, i still sort of enjoy playing cos it's something tt triggers your mind, testing your reaction, your tactics, and your stradegy. BUt.... i guess i ust dun hv the cut for it... Kept dying.. arghhhh....

CST (combat Survival Training)

Yup, Our "last" Chiong Shuah together in the army.. we 1st started out in Tekong doing our BMT then we end it off back in Tekong doing our CST. Well, one regrettable thing.. I was put OOC (Out- Of- Course) so that means i did not "chiong" this last exercise with my fellow campmates.

Some may be very happy that they were put OOC but strangely for me, i felt very guilty. I was on status for very long but i dun mind renouncing my status just to go for this one last outfield. (okie.. u may think i'm crazy) but then the thing is they mention for those who didnt go this time will hv to complete it during reservist days.. I was thinking might as well do it now with the rest of the coy-mates!

So i follow the rest of them to Tekong as their enemies. What i couldnt take it was knowing that they will be starving cos they were not given very little food. 1 green pack, which is mean for a day for 1 person, now has to be shared among 4 people over a few days.. HOW TO SURVIVE? "machiam" really like the "Survival". So i smugled food for them. Pls... ORD-ing already still have to go thru this type of torture? My heart goes out to those who were given the POW training. *salute* and congrats for

I dunno why but my heart was very heavy when we(enemies) left for main-land on thurs. I kinda miss them and was wondering if they got enought food to eat. haiz..

Anyway, I went back to camp to "welcome" those who went for the course on sat evening. Encik and OC were very kind to buy back pepsi and KFC for those who went for the course.. For a moment i tot i was in the lunar mth of july where the "gates of hell" is opened.. They ate like "Hungry Ghost"!. lolx.

Classic Moment:
We layed KFC on the table.. waiting for the rest of the people who went for the course to change to their comfort wear to come down to eat.
Rw(saw the KFC on the table):"Har~~ Encik... Chicken again ar??"
Encik(with a wide open eys):"aye.. wat encik chicken again ar? $#@&^#@$ I owe u one ar? Not even a mention of thank you, you dare to say chicken again ar?? $#@&^#@$ u dun eat la~~"
(I think Rw said this because they were given raw chickens to cook for themselves during the last phrase of the training- living of the land)
SY(juz reached the table after encik finished "scolding" Rw):"Whoa.. KFC ar!! Tks lei, Encik!"
Encik(very happy and turns to Rw):"Hey... u see anot? These people are grateful unlike you.. got hear wat he say anot? "tk you, Encik" lei.. not like u.. "chicken again" hor.."
SY obviously duno wat was going on.. lolx..

Moral of this:"BE GRATEFUL n THANKFUL for kind gestures like these.. Cos seriously they dun owe us. Encik n OC came back purposely just to treat them." Aiyo.. Rw ar.. wat u doing~~ Rw is our tropper, SY is our spec.
